Nineteen-year-old Hibernian striker Jason Cummings is having a breakout season, but he’s still a young man with learning to do.
That’s true for off-the-field as well as on. Cummings has reportedly been banned from McDonald’s after throwing muffins at the staff and verbally-abusing customers.
Yep. Throwing muffins.

Of course, Cummings denies it, saying he was just “in the wrong place at the wrong time.” His manager is backing him up, too, and the Scotland U-19 forward has 11 goals in 23 matches for Hibs this season.
Now it has emerged that the fast food chain has banned him from the restaurant over his “unacceptable” and “antisocial” behaviour.
A McDonald’s spokeswoman told the Daily Record this morning: “Following behaviour deemed to be unacceptable, we are in the process of writing to this individual, informing him of our decision to ban him from Gorgie Road restaurant.
“Our first priority is to ensure that our restaurants are a safe and welcoming environment for our customers and employees, so we take antisocial behaviour very seriously.”
The club says he got “caught up in something that wasn’t his doing” and completely has his back. Which is good, because someone could be throwing hamburgers or Shamrock Shakes right back at him.
