The white-hot Reds can move into fifth-place with a win over Manchester City on Sunday, and exorcise a few demons in the process.

Liverpool enters the day with a 10-match Premier League unbeaten streak and in sixth-place, a point back of No. 5 Southampton and three back of Arsenal.

But the Reds played on Thursday in the Europa League, where they worked extra time only to lose to Besiktas in penalty kicks. Manchester City played on Tuesday at home, where the second-place club lost to Barcelona.

City is five points back of Chelsea, and can close the gap with the Blues to two points.

Philippe Coutinho is back for Liverpool, while Jordan Henderson will be a match day decision.

The Toffees are hoping to move nine points clear of the drop zone, but have to work a major upset to do so.

Everton faces a similar obstacle to Liverpool, as both played Europa League matches on Thursday while their Champions League opponents danced earlier in the week.

But Arsenal played on Wednesday, losing 3-1 to Monaco. And the Gunners will be hoping to leap back over Manchester United, which won on Saturday against Sunderland.
