Three Premier League games are taking place on Tuesday and we have some feisty encounters in the relegation battles across England.
Villa lead West Brom 1-0 as Tim Sherwood is 45 minutes away from his first PL victory in charge of the Midlands club, while Hull City lead Sunderland by the same scoreline in a lively encounter at the KC.
Southampton against Crystal Palace is scoreless as the Saints’ woes in front of goals continue.
Below is a quick recap on the first 45, and if you hit the link above you can watch the second half of all three games.
Aston Villa 1-0 West Bromwich Albion
A fine finish from Gabriel Agbonlahor after a route-one approach is the difference as Villa have dominated proceedings and should be at least 2-0 up. Agbonlahor had an effort cleared off the line and Fabian Delph hit the post.
Hull City 1-0 Sunderland
Dame N’Doye now has three goals in four games for Hull as he prodded home Tom Huddlestone’s corner in this relegation six-pointer. Plenty of meaty challenges have flown in on the pitch and on the sidelines managers Gus Poyet and Steve Bruce were involved in an altercation which saw Bruce kicking drinks bottles and Poyet sent to the stand. Relegation battles will get to you…
Southampton 0-0 Crystal Palace
Yeah, so Saints still can’t score. Graziano Pelle has missed the best chance of the game as Ronald Koeman’s side once again dominate possession but have nothing to show for it.
