LIVE – Premier League, at the half: Chelsea, Man City, Liverpool ahead


There are seven games taking place on a wild Wednesday in the Premier League.

At half time the top two are both ahead with Chelsea leading West Ham and Man City edging past Leicester after a tense opening 45 minutes.

Elsewhere Arsenal, Manchester United and Tottenham are being held, while Stoke and Liverpool are 1-0 up at the break.

West Ham United 0-1 Chelsea

Eden Hazard’s header is the difference for the Blues but West Ham are pushing for an equalizer.

Manchester City 1-0 Leicester City

Right on half time David Silva struck after the Citizens dominated the opening 45 minutes.

Tottenham Hotspur 1-1 Swansea City

Spurs went ahead through Nacer Chadli, but then a worrying moment arrived as Bafetimbi Gomis appeared to collapse on the pitch before being stretchered off. More on that, here. Ki then equalized for the Swans in an even encounter.

Stoke City 1-0 Everton

Victor Moses’ terrific header has the Potters ahead as Everton’s struggles continue.

Newcastle United 0-0 Manchester United

Newcastle should have had a penalty kick after some clumsy defending from Chris Smalling, but United are hanging on.

QPR 0-0 Arsenal

The Gunners have failed to break down a stubborn QPR side with Charlie Austin looking dangerous for the hosts.

Liverpool 1-0 Burnley

Jordan Henderson scored a stunner to put Liverpool ahead at the break. Burnley aren’t going down without a fight though.
