Any hope of a race to the Bundesliga finish line was erased by Dominik Kohr, as the 21-year-old forward’s 63rd minute goal lifted Augsburg over second-place Wolfsburg on Saturday morning.
That result, combined with Bayern Munich’s 3-1 win at Hannover, puts Wolfsburg 11 points back of Bayern for the German crown.

The only thing standing between Bayern Munich and a historic 25th title is an improbable run of injuries and form. The Bavarians went down 1-0 on Hiroshi Kiyotake’s 25th minute goal, but Xabi Alonson equalized within three minutes.
Thomas Muller converted a PK in the 61st minute and added another goal 11 minutes later to put a bow on things.
Third-place Borussia Monchengladbach is 21 points back of Bayern, which has 10 matches left in its Bundesliga campaign. Augsburg is tied for fourth with 38 points.
