Jose Mourinho: Chelsea will win the Premier League

No longer in the mix for European glory, Jose Mourinho can narrow his focus to one thing.

The Premier League title.

Currently enjoying a five point lead with a game in-hand at the top of the table, Chelsea is on a good path to winning the title, barring a major collapse.

However, after the Blues’ disappointing and lackluster performance that saw them knocked out of the Champions League against PSG midweek, some started to question whether Chelsea would falter in the league as well.

According to Jose Mourinho, they wont.

The people who went out last Wednesday are the same who’ve been top of the league since day one.

They are the same people who won the Capital One Cup and the same people who are going to win the Premier League.

If you want to speak about the Champions League you have to go to (Arsenal manager) Arsene Wenger or (Manchester City boss) Manuel Pellegrini.

The only thing to speak about the Champions League is that if we win the Premier League we are top seeds next season.

What we can do now for our club is to win the Premier League. Our situation is good. Everybody would love to be in our position.”

Mourinho’s comments ooze confidence, something the Special One is never short of. After coming off of one of their worst performances of the season, there is no doubt in his mind that the Premier League trophy will be coming to Stamford Bridge.
