A 15-year-old from England has been arrested on suspicion of sending a racist tweet concerning Arsenal striker Danny Welbeck.
The vile abuse occurred after Welbeck, 24, scored the winner for Arsenal in their 2-1 FA Cup quarterfinal victory over Manchester United at Old Trafford last Monday.

From the Salisbury area of England, the teenager has been released on bail until a hearing on April 13.
Welbeck switched Manchester United for Arsenal this summer in a $24 million move after being told by new Red Devils boss Louis van Gaal that he was no longer needed by his boyhood club United.

Vile, disturbing and unfortunately something that happens far too frequently on social media, acts of racism and discrimination of any kind need to be stamped out.
This latest incident comes after Chelsea’s fans were condemned following two separate racist incidents last month in Paris and London surrounding their UEFA Champions League clash with Paris Saint-Germain.
