Elsewhere in Europe, last season’s runners up Atletico Madrid host Bayer Leverkusen at the Vicente Calderon hoping to overturn a 1-0 deficit from the first leg in Germany. Diego Simeone’s boys have been struggling in La Liga as hopes of winning back-to-back titles are diminishing, but Atleti will fancy their chances of advancing in front of a passionate home crowd in the Spanish capital.
