Borussia Dortmund boss Jurgen Klopp was making up for a poor domestic season with his club’s work in the UEFA Champions League, but that ship has sailed after Juventus dispatched BVB 3-0 on Wednesday, 5-2 on aggregate in the Round of 16.
Carlos Tevez himself did enough to eliminate Dortmund, scoring a pair of goals and assisting on Alvaro Morata’s tally. He was a dynamic force, something that Klopp’s charges couldn’t find in the match.

In Klopp’s words, they were harmless:
“We were too harmless. If you don’t shoot on goal, you can’t score. Every minute the opponent gained in confidence and we ended up having none. Juve were simply better than us, but they also had the perfect start after three minutes.”
It’s an accurate assessment of the evening in Germany. Klopp returns his attention to trying to advance up the Bundesliga table, while Juve plays on.
