After dominating the headlines earlier in the season, we’ve gotten radio silence from Mario Balotelli.
Balotelli’s form, or lack thereof, when he came to Liverpool was the talk of the town, but he has been so bad that his name is no longer on the back pages every day.

The Italian striker has failed to earn a consistent role for Brendan Rodgers’ side, and with a healthy Daniel Sturridge back in the lineup, he has dropped even further down the pecking order.
But that hasn’t stopped Balotelli from taking to Instagram and calling out his haters, telling those who don’t know him personally to “shut up.”
It’s a strange post by Balotelli, as his form at Anfield has not helped his public approval ratings. He has been called out by his coach and teammates for a lack of hustle and effort, and has scored just one goal in the league all season.
The Balotelli-Liverpool experiment has gone terribly wrong, but luckily for Reds’ fans, it will all be over soon.
