Juan Mata’s goal to beat Liverpool was a splendid little turn of foot, but Feyenoord’s Anass Achahbar did him one better… twice.
Okay, okay, the second goal wasn’t better than Mata’s volleyed goal, but the first was ‘top of the charts’ good. Achahbar picked up a ball sent over his head, Willie Mays-style, and hammered a bending shot past Jeroen Zoet.

It’s a thrilling tally, and could be in the discussion for Puskas Award consideration. Achahbar, 21, has three goals in six matches this season. He’s Dutch-Moroccan, and has represented the Netherlands at the youth level.
