Jurgen Klinsmann has chosen his XI for Wednesday’s 3 p.m. ET friendly versus Denmark in Aarhus.
Clint Dempsey was injured Monday in training, and his hamstring ailment forced him back to Seattle for treatment. He’s expected to miss 2-3 weeks.
Michael Bradley will don the captain’s armband for the match in a 4-4-2 formation. It’s an offense-first unit with Ale Bedoya and Gyasi Zardes joining Bradley and Fabian Johnson in the midfield.
Nick Rimando gets the call in goal, while Aron Johannsson will start in his old haunt.
Meanwhile, Liga MX regulars Jonathan Orozco and Greg Garza will be in the back four.
