Soccer’s rich list: Who are the top 20 highest earning players?


Earlier we brought you the news that Lionel Messi earned upwards of $1.4 million per week in 2014 in total revenue, which made him the highest earning player on the planet.

As Messi soars ahead of Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar at the summit, here’s a look at the other players in the top 20 according to France Football who released its rich list.

Some trends to spot in the list below include eight of the top 10 players coming from Barcelona, Real Madrid, Manchester United or PSG, while nine of the top 20 highest revenue earners play in the Premier League and seven of the top 20 highest earners play for one of the two Manchester clubs.
