MLS Team of the Week — Stars of Week 4

Lads and ladies, men and women, dudes and dudettes, it’s going to be a bit of an odd week for the MLS Team of the Week here on PST.

That’s because plenty of big names were injured or on international duty, opening the door for plenty of big ambitions to translate to the pitch this weekend.

At keeper, we see DC United’s Bill Hamid edge out Houston’s Tyler Deric, and we can’t guarantee it’s because the latter already got a POTW honor from our site.

Jordan Allen gets a high-five for his uplifting return from a horrible injury. The Rochester, N.Y., native hit the pitch to score the match-winner at Rio Tinto late Sunday.

The midfield is led by our Player of the Week, with two-goal man Kelyn Rowe also in the engine room (so to speak).

Thoughts? Questions? Agreements? Disagreements? (Of course not). Leave them in the comments section, as always. Don’t be afraid to hate, I’m just filling in for Andy here.
