Lineups out for USMNT vs. Switzerland: Williams, Morales, Shea come in; diamond in midfield

On Tuesday the U.S. national team concludes its trip to Europe with a friendly against Switzerland in Zurich.

Following their 3-2 defeat to Denmark last Wednesday, Jurgen Klinsmann’s boys face No. 12 ranked Switzerland in a stern test.

As expected, Klismann made changes to the team which lost to Denmark as Danny Williams, Brek Shea and Alfredo Morales start with the USMNT looking to be lined up in a 4-4-2 formation but with a diamond in midfield which sees Williams in the holding midfield role and Michael Bradley in a more advanced position.

There is no room in the starting lineup for Julian Green or Tim Ream, while Mexican-American goalkeeper William Yarbrough is also on the bench.

We will have live updates from Zurich on ProSoccerTalk, as well as post-game analysis and reaction.
