Most people can admit Manchester United has gotten back on their feet after an underwhelming finish to last season.
The Red Devils are positioned in fourth place with the end goal of snagging second place from reigning champion Manchester City, who are two points in front of United currently.
Practice makes perfect, and manager Louis van Gaal thinks exactly that.

Although he’s noticed an significant improvement in his players’ approach, the Dutchman admitted that his mode of training is difficult and necessitates dedication.
“We are working day-in, day-out,” he said. “We have to see how players respond because how I train, I’ve explained it a lot of times, is not so easy for players and it’s a whole process. We start at the bottom, unconscious, capable, but then your next step is conscious, incapable.”
Before United’s match vs. Aston Villa this weekend, Van Gaal will assess any fitness-related issues stemming from the bygone international break.
“Very important after the international break is the fatigued state of the player because they have traveled…So, I have to look at everything. Smalling is still ill, so maybe I have to change because of that.”
