Bafetimbi Gomis scored a pair of goals and David Meyler saw red for an awful tackle on Kyle Naughton, as Swansea City cruised past 10-man Hull City with a 3-1 win at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday.

Ki Sung-Yeung also scored for Swans, as the eighth place side moves four points clear of West Ham and Stoke City at the moment.

Hull City remains just three points ahead of the drop zone, in 15th place.

Swansea City went up 1-0 when Allan McGregor made a diving stop on Jonjo Shelvey, only to see the rebound go directly to Ki.

And Swans doubled their advantage when Gomis hammered a floating ball past McGregor with an overhead kick.

Hull pulled one back when McShane tucked a Alex Bruce flick under Fabianski in the 49th minute, but David Meyler put a serious crimp in the comeback plans when he launched into Kyle Naughton’s ankle.

Gomis put it to bed in stoppage time when he had a 50-yard  breakaway on McGregor and chipped the Hull keeper to make it 3-1.
