Harry Kane, the young striker taking the Premier League by storm, is captaining Tottenham for the first time as they take on Burnley from Turf Moor at 8:30am ET live on NBCSN or live online at NBC Sports Live Extra.
The Premier League joint-top scorer has 19 goals on the season and will be looking for more as Spurs search for a European place. They currently sit in seventh, below Southampton on goal differential in seventh position but could go fifth above both Saints and Liverpool with a win.

Kane is captain in place of usual leader Hugo Lloris, who will not be between the sticks thanks to a knee gash that damaged some soft tissue. In his place is Michel Vorm, who makes just his second Premier League appearance of the season, his first start. There are no injury problems for Spurs, but Jan Vertonghen misses out due to illness, so Vlad Chiriches comes into the central defense. Danny Rose is fit despite a potential hamstring problem.
The home side, meanwhile, has a fully fit lineup for Sean Dyche who desperately needs points. Burnley saw both teams below them in the relegation zone win games, jumping QPR above them on goal differential and pulling Leicester City within three points. Should Burnley win, they would keep pace with those below and pull them out of the relegation zone at Sunderland’s expense. Even a draw would level them on points with the Black Cats, but a loss would cause the relegation battle to become a thicket of uncertainty.
