With the 2014-15 Premier League season enters its final weeks — just seven to go, can you believe it? — it’s all that much more important for the stars of those relegation-threatened teams at the bottom of the league to step and lead their respective sides to every last precious points possible.
This weekend, Leicester City (20th) and Queens Park Rangers (19th) picked up much-needed victories, while Burnley (18th) nabbed a point against top-six side Tottenham Hotspur. To the victors go the spoils, as each of the above mentioned teams landed a player in this week’s Premier League Team of the Week.
Oh yeah, and then there’s the usual suspects — Eden Hazard, Olivier Giroud and Mesut Ozil — making the cut as well.
Thoughts? Questions? Agreements? Disagreements? (Of course not.) Leave them in the comments section, as always.
