Joe Hart was extremely disappointed following Manchester City’s 4-2 loss to crosstown rival Manchester United, calling the afternoon one of his worst in a City uniform.

Hart isn’t to blame for the scoreline, although he would probably like to get back Juan Mata’s goal that beat him between the legs. City were outplayed and got picked apart by a United side that put in one of its best performances of the season.
Having already won two titles at the Etihad, Hart didn’t give a clear-cut answer when asked if Manchester City was out of the trophy hunt this season. He did say they must win the last six games of the year, which includes trips to Tottenham and Swansea as well as a home match against Southampton.
Following the loss in the Manchester derby City sit fourth on the table, four points behind United and 12 points behind leaders Chelsea. Considering the Citizens were tied at the top of the table on Christmas, they will look back and be extremely disappointed with the drop-off in the second half of the season.
