Fabian Castillo is really, really, really scary on his best day. Oh yeah, he’s still just 22 years old and has four full seasons of MLS experience, which means those “best days” are probably going to continuously become more and more frequent occurrences as the 2015 season wears on.

On Saturday night, Castillo torched Toronto FC — and center back-playing-right back Nick Hagglund, in particular — for a pair of equally stunning and lethal goals (above and below videos) inside the first 10 minutes of FCD’s 3-2 victory.
The game took over five hours to complete, thanks to a three-hour delay for lightning in the area surround Toyota Stadium, but Castillo’s early contributions had a lasting impact and played a massive role in the result, especially once Sebastian Giovinco — this week’s POTW runner-up — went crazy in the final 10 minutes of the game and nearly made the game a 3-3 draw with a late hat trick of his own.

Aside from his pair of goals, Castillo was a huge problem for Hagglund and the TFC defense all night long. Don’t be surprised if/when you see Castillo’s name listed for MLS Team of the Week and/or Player of the Week again soon.
