It’s safe to say that Bayern Munich’s fans and players were pretty ecstatic with their 6-1 win over FC Porto on Tuesday night at the Allianz Arena.
Bayern’s crushing victory whipped out their 3-1 first leg deficit to Porto and sent them into the UEFA Champions League semifinals 7-4 on aggregate.
After the game, as you can imagine, there were jubilant scenes in the stadium.
Things got a little bit crazy as Bayern’s players urged Thomas Muller (who scored one to become the top scoring German in UCL history with 27 and assisted on both of Robert Lewandowski’s goals) toward the fans and he grabbed a megaphone before leading the chants for Bayern’s supporters as his teammates looked on from the penalty box.
Here’s video proof that this happened, as there will be plenty of parties in Munich tonight.
