LIVE – Premier League, at the half: Relegation candidates nervous in six games


On a tense Saturday afternoon in the Premier League, the boys at the bottom are choking a little bit.

Leicester City and Burnley are locked at a stalemate, while West Brom, Hull City, QPR and Sunderland are also drawing as none of the six aformentioned strugglers are doing much to drag themselves away from the bottom three.

Newcastle 1-1 Swansea

Ayoze Perez gave the Magpies the lead but Oliveira equalized for Swansea just before HT.

Stoke City 1-1 Sunderland

Sunderland went ahead through Wickham but another beauty from Adam leveled things up.

Leicester City 0-0 Burnley

Stalemate at Turf Moor as two of the bottom three battle nerves.

West Brom 0-0 Liverpool

Can and Gerrard have come close for the Reds but West Brom is holding firm.

QPR 0-0 West Ham

Charlie Austin, QPR’s leading scorer, missed a PK as the R’s are all over West Ham but just can’t break through.

Crystal Palace 0-0 Hull

An end-to-end game in south London with Hull having plenty of chances but N’Doye fluffed his lines with a terrible miss.
