A pair of second-half goals and a late red card helped Swansea City pick up a 2-0 win over Stoke City on Saturday at the Liberty Stadium.

Jefferson Montero scored in the 76th minute before Ki Sung-yueng added one in stoppage time, as Swans have 53 points and a spot in eighth place.

Jonjo Shelvey assisted on both Swans goals.

Stoke drops to 10th, and will be without Marc Wilson, who picked up a pair of yellow cards.

It’s the fourth win in six matches for Swansea, which managed 16 shots to Stoke’s nine (though just seven shots found their way on target over the course of a dull match).

Then came Montero’s diving header finish of a great dribble and cross from Jonjo Shelvey, and Ki converted a late feed from the same provider to complete the 2-0 score line.

In between the goals, Marc Wilson picked up his second yellow card of the match for Stoke City.
