AZ Alkmaar’s 3-2 win over NAC Breda was a fun match with a climactic finish from its USMNT striker.
Aron Johannsson buried a shot from way outside the 18 to send AZ to the win with just a handful of minutes to play.
It was the third-straight win for AZ, and the fourth-straight game with a point for the club’s Icelandic-Alabaman No. 9.

Johannsson has battled injuries this year, but has seven goals and two assists in 20 appearances. He also scored for the U.S. against Denmark as part of his six goals and two assists across club and country since Feb. 1.
AZ moves level with third-place Feyenoord. Johannsson scored 17 goals and added 7 assists in his breakout season last year.
