The second-hand market for tickets to see Steven Gerrard’s final home match for Liverpool is… a little pricey.
As of 8 a.m. ET, the cheapest seat on European resale site Ticketbis is going for around $280, with the majority ranging between $300-600.

While there’s no guarantee anyone will meet the requested prices, the highest end figures are between $1500 and $2000.
Lofty.
Tickets at that top price in the Main Stand normally sell at £47 for what is a Category C game.
Gerrard, 34, ends a 17-year career with the Reds next week at Stoke, before he moves to MLS club LA Galaxy.
Reports have suggested the former England skipper will receive a guard of honour before the match against the Eagles.
If I was a Liverpool fan without a ticket, I’m sure I’d be tempted to find the extra few hundred to get in the building. However, if I was a Liverpool fan with a $73 (47 pounds) ticket I could flip for thrice its price, I’d watch at home with a feast of my favorite foods and profit to spare.
The Reds close their season the following week at Stoke City, and resale seats in the away end — with no guarantee Gerrard will feature — range between $450-900 with the exception of an extortionist offer of $3600 (That probably won’t be met, we’d guess).
