My word, it’s all been kicking off in Venezuela. Literally.
Following Carabobo FC’s 0-0 draw with Aragua in the Primera Division Venezolana, Carabobo’s striker Aquiles Ocanto was being interviewed on the pitch by reporter Maria Alexandra Bastidas live on Meridiano Television.

Then, a fan ran out of nowhere and drop kicked Octano in the back as he fell to the floor in agony. Plus other unruly fans had also invaded the pitch at this point.
Carabobo have since confirmed that the striker is recovering from the injuries he sustained in the attack and that they “reject such acts of violence in football.”
Pretty scary moment for the player and the reporter involved. Watch the shocking act of fan violence in the video below.
