Hull City’s date with destiny has arrived as the Tigers host Manchester United at the KC Stadium on Sunday (Watch live, 10 a.m. ET on NBC and online via Live Extra).
For Steve Bruce’s side the equation is simple. Win and they may stay in the Premier League, depending on how Newcastle get on against Newcastle. Draw or lose and their two-year stay in the PL is over.
Manchester United has nothing to play for after sealing fourth-place but Bruce has never beaten the side he used to captain in 21 games against them as a coach. He needs his luck to turn on Sunday.
In team news Hull remain unchanged from the side who lost at Tottenham last week, while United bring back Wayne Rooney from injury but Victor Valdes starts in goal as David De Gea failed to recover from a knock in the draw versus Arsenal last Sunday. Angel Di Maria starts for the first time since March and Radamel Falcao isn’t in the squad at all.
