Manchester United have been linked with Valencia defender Nicolas Otamendi for what feels like ages, and the stout 27-year-old Argentine is ready to move if you believe his agent, who said:
“Nico is going to do everything [possible] to leave. There are a lot of conversations with clubs that want Otamendi. Nicolás loves everything at Valencia but, if the chance arose to leave, he’d do everything possible to make it happen.”
Will he join the Old Trafford club along with Borussia Dortmund midfielder Ilkay Gundogan. Goal.com claims BVB has already agreed to terms with United for the transfer of the 24-year-old German, and that the Red Devils are also going after Man City’s Jesus Navas and Real Madrid backup keeper Keylor Navas, hero of Costa Rica’s World Cup run.

As for relegated stars, Danny Ings has been tipped for a $7.5 million move from Burnley to Liverpool, but given the crazy prices for English players like Ross Barkley and Raheem Sterling — certainly not equating the three — surely the Clarets can get more from another suitor.
Liverpool is sure to bring in a couple strikers this summer, and The Daily and Sunday Express says that Brendan Rodgers is ready to spend big to win the Alexandre Lacazette sweepstakes from Lyon, while also going hard for diminutive Benfica winger Eduardo Salvio, 24. The bill for both? Close to $110 million.
