North Harbour Stadium in Auckland, New Zealand will play host to the 2015 FIFA U-20 World Cup Final, where heavyweights Brazil face off against a stingy Serbian side.
Brazil is seeking its sixth title in the competition, which would tie Argentina for the most championships in U-20 World Cup history.
A side usually known for attacking flair, this Brazilian team has reached the final through stout defense, currently on a run of 502 minutes without conceding a goal. However, the Brazilians know how to score as well, as seen in their 5-0 romp over Senegal in the semifinals.
It will be Serbia’s first trip to the final as an independent nation, as Yugoslavia reached the final match in 1987. Similar to Brazil, the Serbs have relied on defense to make a deep run, conceding just three goals in six matches thus far. Veljko Paunovic’s side has had to battle to make the finals, with their past three matches going to extra-time, two of those being decided in penalty kicks.
