WATCH LIVE: Women’s World Cup round of 16 – Norway vs. England


England and Norway lock horns in Ottawa on Monday with a spot in the World Cup quarterfinals against Canada on the line.

The English have never won a knockout game at the World Cup and Mark Sampson’s side will have their work cut out against a Norwegian outfit who have impressed and are still undefeated.

Teenager Ada Hegerberg will be Norway’s main threat up front, while two of England’s three goals have been scored by midfielder Karen Carney who will look to make surging runs forwards and catch the Norwegians off guard.

Norway, despite being five places below England in the world rankings, will be the slight favorites and given their display against favorites Germany in a 1-1 draw during group play they will be extremely tough to break down.
