Sometimes, when the club season and international windows are over, things can get a little dull for soccer players. So, to spice things up, a pair of Liverpool players took to the team store to mess with some fans and produce a funky little video.
Jordan Henderson and Lucas Leiva were the stars, as the two dressed up in costumes and posed as team store employees to have some fun. Poor Lucas struggled to get fans not only to recognize him but to even buy his shirt for a crazy, discounted price. Henderson had more success, as one fan recognized him almost immediately, and he pranked another with the classic “what if I got Jordan Henderson to sign that shirt” move before taking off his glasses and signing the shirt.
Levia took his costume off and just worked the counter, but still couldn’t get a poor woman to recognize him until he actually introduced himself. He then messed with a fan who brought an Everton bag into the store (shame!).
It’s good to see the players enjoying their time off, and surely Liverpool fans will hope to see more of Henderson in form on the pitch next season. Lucas will just hope to get more playing time so maybe fans can recognize him in the future.
