Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard is going to be introduced to his new team in a match against the Reds.
Okay, okay, so these Reds are from Toronto FC, but MLSSoccer.com reports that Gerrard will indeed get a salute from the StubHub Center crowd in California when the L.A. Galaxy host TFC on Independence Day.

Gerrard, 35, arrived in Los Angeles this weekend to a few paparazzi and a new stage of his career, one announced back in January. After a week acclimating to California, Gerrard begin training on Tuesday, July 7.
Toronto FC and L.A. will kick off at 10:30 p.m. ET on Saturday. The Galaxy have won two of their last three matches, and has previously announced that Gerrard would make his MLS debut on July 11.
Los Angeles has a Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup matchup against San Jose on Wednesday before Sunday’s match versus TFC.
