FOLLOW LIVE: Copa America — Argentina and Paraguay battle for title date with Chile

Although in some ways this Copa America seems predestined for a host nation win, Argentina and Paraguay will duel Tuesday night for the right to try and knock off Chile in the final.

Pardon our harsh words, but Chile has now seen a red card handed to its opposition in both knockout round matches for suspect reasons. Then again, Eduardo Vargas’ winner on Monday versus Peru was worthy of a title berth.

In any event, tonight’s semi should be a fun one, with Lionel Messi 180 minutes away from the Copa America title he so badly wants. Along with Sergio Aguero and Gonzalo Higuain, La Albiceleste has been fun to watch.

But so has Paraguay, and they’ll be rightly viewed as a significant underdog despite their success in this tournament. As noted in our preview, there hasn’t been a single clean sheet kept in a match-up of these two teams since 2010. Should be a fun one.
