The rainbow sash in Rayo’s away jersey can be seen in the photos below, as every color in the jersey has a good cause attached to it. Rayo also released a third-jersey in support of breast cancer awareness.

Not content to only fight against homophobia, Rayo also want to “pay tribute to the unsung heroes in society” with the snazzy design of the rainbow jersey. The Madrid club states that the six colors on the sash across the navy blue strip stand for the following:

– Red – for AIDS awareness
– Orange – represents the handicapped
– Yellow – the battle against depression
– Green – the environment
– Blue – to support victims of child abuse
– Purple – makes a stand against domestic violence

How awesome is this?

Anyway, here are some snaps of the new jerseys from Rayo’s official Twitter feed.
