In a sprawling, metaphor-laden thank you, Juve says Pirlo “is silent charisma” and floats the hashtag #WeAreImpressed.
Your move, NYCFC.com. Surely the MLS side is not pleased by the “leak” of the widely-speculated signing, but we bet it’s pretty jazzed to have Pirlo, Frank Lampard, Mix Diskerud and David Villa steering the attack.
Yikes. We just picture a hesitant to celebrate NYCFC fan pulling a Norm MacDonald from “Billy Madison” after a news report says a rich adult elementary school pupil bribed his principal into letting him pass a grade. “Wait, maybe it’s someone else.”
Looking forward to his Man City loan in January (wink).
