David de Gea will travel with Manchester United on their preseason tour to the United States of America.

The Spanish international goalkeeper, 24, has been in contract talks with the Red Devils this summer and amid reported interest from Real Madrid it was widely expected he would leave Old Trafford with just one-year remaining on his current contract.

However, numerous reports claim that Real are yet to make serious offer for De Gea and the Spaniard has now boarded United’s flight bound for the USA.

Another interesting factor here is that DDG’s back-up, Victor Valdes, is not listed on United’s preseason squad and that comes after reported interest from Turkish side Antalyaspor. Could De Gea really be sticking around at United? His sensational form during the 2014-15 season was a huge factor in his side clinching a spot in the top four of the Premier League and if he does stick round it will give Louis van Gaal’s side a huge boost, even if they risk their star goalkeeper leaving for nothing in January 2016.

Below is the full squad list for the tour from United’s Twitter account, as both Bastian Schweinsteiger and Morgan Schneiderlin will fly out to Seattle with their new team following the completion of their transfers on Monday.

United take on Club America in Seattle on Saturday, then travel to California to take on the San Jose Earthquakes and Barcelona, before finishing up their tour with a clash against Paris Saint-Germain in Chicago.

Fans of the Red Devils can now look forward to seeing their four new signings and, more importantly, David de Gea in action.
