The good news for Tottenham Hotspur is that goalkeeper Hugo Lloris remains at White Hart Lane with his five-year contract despite this busy transfer window.
The bad news is that Spurs’ No. 1 keeper has broken his wrist and could meet the start of the season, because wrists are quite important in catching and parrying shots.

Spurs didn’t specify when the injury occurred, besides “during the closed season”.
The France goalkeeper will continue to work alongside the First Team squad to build up his fitness in a bid to be ready for the start of the season.

Tottenham opens the 2015-16 season with Manchester United on Aug. 8, followed by Stoke City, Leicester City and Everton.
Fortunately, Spurs do have very good insurance in ex-Swansea goalkeeper Michel Vorm, but he’s their only other senior goalkeeper under contract.
