With Arsenal gunning for the Premier League title, adding a world-class striker remains at the top of their wish list.

According to the Daily Mail, that striker is Real Madrid’s Karim Benzema. Benzema has long been linked with a move to the Emirates, as it is believed Arsene Wenger is keen to bring his fellow Frenchman to north London.

Wenger was coy in his response on plans for new summer signings, but it is believed that Arsenal will continue to work to buy Benzema after having their first offer rejected by Real. The striker has scored at least 20 goals in seven of his last eight seasons, and would join French teammate Olivier Giroud to form a deadly duo up top for the Gunners.

After winning Serie A last season, Juventus is adding more talent to their already stellar roster as the club has agreed to a deal with Schalke for Julian Draxler. Goal.com is reporting that Juventus and Draxler have agreed to a contract for about $4 million per season, as now Juve must focus on agreeing to terms with Schalke.

At 21-years-old, Draxler already has five seasons of experience in the Bundesliga. The midfielder was linked with a move to a major European club last season, but after undergoing surgery on a torn hamstring in November, he only managed six appearances for Schalke as club’s waited to see how he recovered before putting in a major bid.

Bad news for Premier League clubs as Lyon manager Hubert Fournier has said that Alexandre Lacazette will remain at the Stade de Gerland. The striker had garnered interest from multiple clubs including Arsenal and Manchester United, but according to Fournier, he has told the Lyon he has no plans for a move. The 24-year-old has spent his entire career at Lyon, and was the top scorer in Ligue 1 last season with 27 goals in 31 matches.
