United have seen their bid to sign Sergio Ramos take a hit, with the Real Madrid center back set to sign a new deal with the Spanish club, and after Marcos Rojo upset United’s hierachy after forgetting to renew his passport for their U.S. tour, the Red Devils are keen to bolster their defense. Stones, 21, is suddenly the man everybody wants as Jose Mourinho has already revealed his intentions to try and sign the ball-playing center back who has already made his debut for England’s full national team. With United and Chelsea battling it out for Stones, his price could soar further to around $50 million, while United are said to be chucking Jonny Evans in to any potential deal for Stones. That would be a nice sweetner for Roberto Martinez is the Toffees decide to cash in on their prized possession.

The Sun claims that West Ham United is close to signing Atletico Madrid forward Raul Jiminez. The Mexican international, 24, could arrive at Upton Park for around $16 million, as the Hammers look to boost their attacking options after a disappointing Europa League qualifying campaign so far. New Hammers boss Slaven Bilic saw his side draw 2-2 with Romanian side Astra Giurgiu on Thursday in the first leg of their Europa League third qualifying round game, and Ecuadorian international striker Enner Valencia went down injured. Jimenez spent four years at Club America before moving to Atletico in 2014. However he has scored just once in 27 outings for the Spanish side but the Hammers may give the bulking striker a chance to revive his career in the Premier League.

Finally, Crystal Palace striker Glenn Murray could be on his way out of Selhurst Park says the Daily Mirror. Murray, 31, was given a second chance in the PL with the Eagles in the second half of last season and he scored seven goals in his final 12 outings. However with Patrick Bamford arriving up top, Murray may see his chances limited this season and PL new boys Bournemouth may move to snap him up.
