Three moments that mattered
8′ — Luis Robles stones Mix Diskerud — NYCFC had a golden opportunity to take an early lead, but Luis Robles stood tall in net for the Red Bulls. Angelino streaked down the left wing and threw in a cross to a wide open Mix Diskerud, who hit a strong volley on net. Man of the match: Mike Grella — After playing throughout League One in England for multiple clubs, Grella has regained his form back at home with the Red Bulls. The New York native was involved in the attack throughout the night, and made a great run to set up RBNY’s second goal.
