If you haven’t been keeping up with the third-division of German football, you may have missed the goal of the season.
Rot-Weiss Erfurt lost it’s match against Dynamo Dresden 3-1, but Carsten Kammlott’s goal will go down as one of the best you’re going to see.

Kammlott moved into the box where he connected on a cross with a ridiculous, over-the-head scorpion kick, which is an early contender for the Puskas Award given to the most “beautiful” goal of the year.
Just to make contact with a cross like Kammlott did is hard enough, but to put it in the top corner is remarkable. Do yourself a favor and just watch the above video on repeat, as I’ve been doing for the past few hours.
