Down in the sun on the south coast, Southampton take on Everton on Saturday (Watch live, 7:45 a.m. ET on NBCSN and online via Live Extra).
This should be an entertaining clash at St Mary’s, with both teams eager to spray the ball around and play attractive soccer. In the reverse fixture last season Saints won 3-0 to stop an alarming slide just before the festive period, and with both teams coming off opening day 2-2 draws, expect plenty of goals once again.
The aim for both these teams this season is to finish in the top six, but finishing in the top eight would not be a disaster. With defensive issues for both sides early on in the season, the likes of Graziano Pelle for Southampton and Romelu Lukaku for Everton could have a field day.
In team news both teams make changes in attack as two substitutes who came on and scored late equalizers last week are rewarded with a start. For Southampton, Shane Long comes in to replace Jay Rodriguez, while Arouna Kone replaces Kevin Mirallas in attack for the Toffees.
