Bournemouth head to Anfield on Monday as the Cherries face Liverpool (Watch live, 3 p.m. ET on NBCSN and online via Live Extra) in their first-ever away game in the Premier League.
Eddie Howe’s side lost 1-0 at home to Aston Villa on the opening day but showed plenty of promise on the ball and some slack finishing let them down. As for Liverpool, the Reds labored to an opening weekend win at Stoke City, but Brendan Rodgers’ side look to have improved defensively and will be the red-hot favorites to beat the newly-promoted side and make it two wins from two in the post-Steven Gerrard era.
If they don’t, the pressure will pile on Rodgers after another summer of heavy spending which has seen the likes of Christian Benteke, Nathaniel Clyne, James Milner and Roberto Firmino arrive on Merseyside.
In team news Liverpool is unchanged from the side who beat Stoke on the opening day, while Bournemouth bring in O’Kane and Max Gradel to their starting lineup.
