Etienne Capoue had the easiest scoring chance he’ll ever see in his career, but the French midfielder header the ball over the crossbar in the 66th minute. After a corner kick was whipped in by Alessandro Diamanti, Troy Deeney flicked the ball on at the near post, to Capoue at the back post. With Maarten Stekelenburg all the way across goal, Capoue headed his effort over from two yards out.
