After scoring 31 goals in all competitions last year for Tottenham Hotspur, Harry Kane has gotten off to a slow start in the new Premier League season.
Kane is yet to score through four matches, as Spurs sit 16th on the table with three draws and a loss. In those four games, Tottenham has only scored three goals total.

However, Kane came off the bench for England’s EURO qualifier against San Marino yesterday and found the back of the net, which has the striker confident more goals will start coming.
Obviously a lot has been said about me not scoring yet this season, but the confidence is still there. I think you saw that in the finish.
I am delighted to get on the scoresheet and hopefully I can get the ball rolling now and push on.
It was a little bit (of a weight on my shoulders). Obviously every striker wants to be scoring, so when you’re not, when people are talking, you want to prove them wrong.
While Kane scored England’s fifth goal in a 6-0 rout against a very, very weak San Marino side, any goal is good for a striker. He spoke about still having confidence, which was seen in his finish, a delicate chip over the keeper into the side netting.
Tottenham supporters will be hoping Kane comes back to White Hart Lane and continues to score, as his struggles in front of goal is one of the reasons for Spurs’ slow start. As seen last year, Kane’s production is vital to Tottenham’s success, and he’ll need to try to regain his form as the club doesn’t have many other options up top.
