West Bromwich Albion and Southampton drew 0-0 at the Hawthorns on Saturday in a nervy encounter.
Saints had the better chances in the first half, both of which fell to Jay Rodriguez but the forward wasted them. In the second half Salomon Rondon went close for the home side and despite Saido Berahino coming on as a sub, neither team looked like nicking all three points.
With the draw Saints are in 11th on six points, while West Brom are in 13th spot on five points.

Southampton’s defense held firm under pressure from set pieces and then almost went ahead twice in the first half through Rodriguez. First he wriggled free on the edge of the box but sent a tame shot in on goal, then Dusan Tadic clipped in a delightful cross but Rodriguez put his header wide of the post when he really should have scored.
