Two teams stuck at the bottom of the Premier League table after five matches face off as Sunderland welcomes Tottenham Hotspur to the Stadium of Light, live on NBCSN or live online at NBC Sports Live Extra.
The home side is joint-bottom with just two points and a -4 goal differential, while Spurs is just a point better in 17th.
Sunderland has reinforcements, however, most notably from Liverpool as Fabio Borini starts for the first time since rejoining the club on a permanent transfer from the Reds. Also starting for the first time is Ola Toivonen in support of Borini, having joined on loan from Stade Rennes.
USMNT winger DeAndre Yedlin would also be fit to start but he is ineligible to face his parent club having joined on loan from Spurs. Adam Johnson and Jordi Gomez are close to returning from injury but have yet to regain match fitness.
The visitors, meanwhile, also have a reinforcement in the shape of Heung-Min Son, who finds himself in the starting lineup in support of Harry Kane at the top. He slides directly in thanks to the continued absence of Christian Eriksen with a knee injury. Also missing is Moussa Dembele, out with a foot injury.
Spurs are undefeated in their last 10 league matches against Sunderland, with seven wins and three draws. The last Sunderland league win over Tottenham came in April of 2010 at the Stadium of Light.
