Manchester City’s midweek loss to Juventus in the UEFA Champions League didn’t just get their group stage off to a poor start, it cost them some bodies for Saturday’s visit from West Ham United.
Vincent Kompany (calf) will be replaced by big money signing Nicolas Otamendi, leaving the former Valencia man to play a role in stopping in-form Hammers wizard Dimitri Payet. The Belgian captain will also miss the League Cup clash with Sunderland.

Also out for City are Pablo Zabaleta, Fabian Delph and Gael Clichy, while Samir Nasri‘s status is in question. Zabaleta is about a week away from full training.
The good news, however, is that Sergio Aguero is 100 percent fit for the weekend.
PELLEGRINI: “Vincent is not fit for the game. Zabaleta, Clichy, Delph also. Nasri had a kick in the last game. He’s not 100% for tomorrow.”
