WATCH: Bournemouth’s Ritchie scores Cherry bomb

Matt Ritchie added to the misery in Northeast England with a simply super strike to give Bournemouth a 2-0 lead over Sunderland.

A rough clearance of a Cherries’ corner came to Ritchie, who hadn’t played in the Premier League since 2010. The 26-year-old Bournemouth man chested the ball down before lashing a picture-perfect strike past Costel Pantilimon.

He whizzed that thing.

Ritchie’s been capped five times for Scotland, and this will only keep him on the radar. What a strike.
